Multi-audio files
[Post New]
Hi,I've got a little question ^^

I've got a file which has two types of audio (language). I would like to produce it in the second one but I can't find a way to do it.
Is there an option like that in Cyberlink?

I'll be very grateful for any help ^^

Hi,

Ok,
I've used a software called Audacity - a free audio editor to merge, change and alter audio files.

I'm going to direct you to a site (for PD Editors) where you can download it and lots of other helpful stuff some of us use. You'll need to join but it's free.

It's the first item on the Extras Tools page. Please look through the rest - very worthwhile.

Hi Iselin -

Do you mean the audio files are in different formats, like mp3, WAV, AIFF etc... ???

More detail would help answer your question.

The answer is probably yes, though.

Cheers -

There you go - at the same moment - on opposite sides of the planet - two people were sitting at their PC answering the same question... a butterfly effect - or maybe a caterpillar.

Oh no no. It's all together in one file. It says that it's ... Matroska file (mkv) ? And I used VLC media player to switch language while watching.

Dafydd, thank you very much,I'll check those right now

Man - I'd never heard of Matroska! I've just been reading some of the links - still reeling from it!

It seems like mkvtoolnix and VirtualDub are good pieces of software for editing/creating - but I haven't tried either yet (for this purpose).

This page (from Dafydd's googling) has very useful stuff... http://www.matroska.org/technical/guides/faq/index.html

and helpful downloads at (including the tools above)...
http://www.matroska.org/downloads/windows.html

There's always so much to learn... like that Isaac Asimov statement: "Pretty much everything we thought we knew is nonsense" (well - something like that).

Cheers -
