Video rotates when added to timeline - but I don't want it to!

Hi,

As I've said above, I have a video file (AVI) which appears fine in the preview window - and runs fine in media player etc - but whenever I drop the video onto the timeline in powerdirector it rotates 90 degrees! I know how to rotate it back but I also then have to increase the size of it and wind up losing the resolution.

I'm guessing it's something to do with how the original file was created maybe? This isn't happening with any other videos I try to add. Can anyone suggest how to stop it from happening?

Many thanks,
Cameron.

Any cell phone involved? Are you selecting the right ratio for the video before you start? .
