Burning and crashes

I don't know if someone can help me; despite repeated attempts by CyberLink (who always respond quickly), I am getting nowhere.

I have PD7 and version 2726. I am running a Dell Studio, Quad.

First, as I keep telling CyberLink, every time I open it a flash screen pops up in the bottom right telling me to upgrade to version 2227c.

Second, and more importantly, PD7 crashes every time I attempt to burn, either to a DVD or to my hard drive, which is new and not fragmented.

I have followed CyberLink instructions to the letter, ie uninstalled and checked HKEYs are deleated etc.

Can anyone help???

Cheers

Garry

Mmmmm....the programme might have innate intuition.

I am sure you have searched the forum for this and found multiple threads and a variety of answers but they all seem to be unreliable for individual cases. I have intermittent problems burning to Disc but not to HDD. Sorry but no answer from me I'm afraid.

Re: your other issue with the pop up telling you to "upgrade" to an earlier version... a similar thing happened to me... then - quite mysteriously, it went away. Beats me why!

Very funny pjc!!! Innate indeed!!!

I just installed PD7 from online store and I am having similar issues. I just sent the technical folks an e-mail but your post doesn't give me much confidence. Have you solved your problem?
