I am waiting for installing PD 16 Ultimate and I do not know answer for this question: Can this version without ColorDirector use LUTs?

Very short answer: Yes.

That is one of the new features of PD16.

Hi VaMa

You should be aware that PD16 can use LUTs, but none are supplied so you have to download your own. There are, however, lots of free ones on the web.

i have downloaded several luts i'm playing with, i have to use color director to 'see' them. within power director, when i click the look up table button, a window opens with only a space to type, do i need to put the luts in a specific folder for power director to see them?

nevermind, i couldn't see the 'browse' button, the preview window was too big i guess. i slid it over to reveal the button, problem solved...

You may be interested to know that there is an excellent article about LUTs in the latest edition (9th) of PDNews. Download it from the sticky at the top of the PD16 forum.
