None of the You Tube tutorial videos play after clicking on them in the Cyberlink mode.

I am using windows 10. Once an icon is clicked it turns color and sits. This happens on all tutorials. When using You Tube otherwise outside this app it works fine.

Hi,

I think you need to give members a little more to go on.

Please set out exactly what you are doing to try and access the tutorials through PowerDirector, because it really isn't clear what the problem actually is.

Guidelines for posting are here:

OK, sorry for the lack of info. Open PD 15 Full feature editor. 2. sign in to my account. 3. goes to Director Zone page. 4. PD 15 has 10 clips to watch. 5. Click on any clip (words, turns the letters blue). 6. click on the clip and the background turns blue green and nothing else. I clicked on each clip with the same results. None of the clips will open in all of the diferent programs. I hope this helps. Thanks

I just tried to get to the tutorials and succeeded 2 out of 4 times. First From PowerDirector, from the sticky link: https://directorzone.cyberlink.com/tutorial/pdr/ , from directorzone, from youtube : https://www.youtube.com/user/CyberLinkChannel/videos?disable_polymer=1 .

You could wait another day and try again. It took me about 20 minutes just to access links from this forum to put them in this message. See the result from one attempted access. You may be better off going to the YouTube link above to see the tutorials if you are in a hurry. See the attached screenshot on one such attempt.

.

I noticed in the website above, the ending has/pdr/. Could that have anything to do with my issue?

Thanks for your update, however I have been trying now for many days to access them. When you mention took 20 minutes to access links doe that have the same effect for the videos? If all the videos are available on the You Tube I guess I will have to resort to that method. This has been the first time I have ever had an issue playing You Tube videos. Thanks for trying to help. BTW What does a sticky link mean?

On top of the PD15 forum are two topics highlighted in pink. Those are the stickys which mean that they will not change so all forum members can read them first. Both the moderator and I both used the same two pink (highlighted) links in our response to you.

OK. I have sent you two photos, one that shows you what should be included from you email. Yours shows You Tube in the bottom of the top pic. If you look on mine there is no You Tube icon. Is this where the issue lies?

Thanks

You can go straight to the PDR15 tutorials by going to https://directorzone.cyberlink.com/tutorial/pdr/#53_-1_1

I tried to reply last night but was effectively locked out of the forum. Who knows this time it might work undecided.

p.s. - Well slap my thighs I didn't for a moment think it would work!

p.p.s. Sorry tomasc, I realise I'm effectively just repeating what you suggested.

Hi bobsunetti -

Yes, but look what happens after you click the play button. This screen capture starts from the same DZ page you posted in your screenshot.

Cheers - Tony
