Not enough space on target DVD

How can I copy a DVD movie to a blank DVD that is 120 minutes long, if the movie/special features is longer than 120 minutes? Is there a way to separate the movie portion from the special features?

Or do I need that double-layer DVD for the target??

I have never done this before, obviously.

Assuming that you have Power2Go, you should read the configuration settings in the manual or users guide...almost all the basic questions and setups are in there. If you don't have a user manual, then download one from this link: http://www.cyberlink.com/downloads/support/power2go/userguide_en_US.html

For example, there is a configuration setting in preferences that says something like this:

".........Enable DVD auto-fit: Check this option to automatically fit the
video onto one disc with the best quality........."

A double layer disc would be another way, but your version of Power2Go and your CD/DVD burner or recorder must support these discs.

The last method is to rip the DVD using ripping software (many are free on the internet) and then choose the chapters you want to copy.

Of course, copying any commercial DVD is illegal and so you're on your own for the most part.
