Hi alhan -

No iPhone 8 here, but I can't see any reason why PDR16 wouldn't support it.

  1. 4K video recording at 24 fps, 30 fps or 60 fps

  2. 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps or 60 fps

  3. 720p HD video recording at 30 fps

  4. Video formats recorded: HEVC and H.264

There's only one way to confirm that, but I haven't been able to track down any original iPhone 8 4K clips for download.

Cheers - Tony

I'm sending a link to download 4K 60fps H.265/HEVC videos from iPhone 8

iPhone8_4K_60fps_H265.MOV

I've found that if l change the end of .MOV to .MP4 for a video so the PowerDirector works fine.

I am currently using the PowerDirector 14 Ultimate and wondering if the PowerDirector 16 version is the same issue of importing videos from iPhone 8?

Thank you for the information.

Yes, you can add a video to your website.

So inthe PD16 video .MOV from iPhone 8 what i gave the link works fine?

When insert .MOV into PD14, l only have a white image (the sound is fine),

but when l just rename the video from .MOV to .MP4, the picture is fine.

Yes alhan -

I can confirm that. PDR14 imports the clips but displays image white. Changing the file extension to .mp4 corrects that.

PDR15 & 16 both import the .MOV clip with no issues. All editing features available, including sending to CDR & ADR for adjustment.

Here, QT & K-Lite codecs installed.
