TrueTheater HD plays in black and white

I have PowerDVD Version 9.0.1501.a

And one DVD plays in black and white ifI enable the "TrueTheater HD" option.
The DVD menu is in color, but the movie is B&W.

If I disable TrueTheater HD, then the movie gets its colors back.
The other TrueTheater options (lighting and motion) have no such problems.

Any idea what is going on ?

I have Windows XP Pro SP3 and an ATI card.

This happens with one DVD. Two other DVDs do not have this problem (they are always in color, with or without TrueTheater HD)

Regards,
David

1.Update your graphics card driver.
2. How about update to latest PowerDVD 9 Ultra patch ?

hmmm do you use avivo.....if so are your settings set to use application settings or do you have it set manually. if you have it set to use app settings than in the "Avivo Video" + drop down there is something that says all settings on your left pane, on your right pane you should see a check box for "windows media acceleration" make sure that it is checked if it is not then i would have to say your pretty much out of luck.

Also check to see that your settings in powerdvd are checked off where it says enable hardware acceleration. Some people prefer not to but in your case i think you should.

I enable TrueHD. That disables HW acceleration.

So Avivo, "windows media acceleration" etc.. should make no difference.
But I'll check, just in case

"windows media acceleration" is ON in the Catalyst settings.
