What this service/File do ?

What happens when I disable it ?

I only watch bluray 3D movies, I don't need anything with network or sharing or from External USB devices.

Why? Especially and exe?

It uses very little resources and just sits there until it is called.

Try removing it and let us know what happens

or

Contact Cyberlink's Tech Service to see if you get an answer. If so tell us what they say. .

I have it always disabled because I do not like any unnecessary processes running in the background.

Hi,

The process is related to PDVD Home Media (DLNA), CyberLink Cloud synchronization, and PDVD Remote App control features. Disabling the process may affect the normal use of the above mentioned features.

Thank you all for your contribution.

Hi, sound is a Realtek-driver on Win10 x64 ( latest build) , with a nVidia-card .

Yes, all these Visual C++ are installed.

This error appears in the event-log after every reboot immediately , so without starting PDVD17.

It also appears after de-activating the PDVD17Agent ............

I have no idea how to solve it ! Do NOT GIVE UP!! CyberLink updates PDVD12 next month for solving these frustrating problem!!

Event logs ; " C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCR110.dll " with Application Error id=1000

Sound-driver ; Realtek 6.0.1.8224

nVidia-driver ; 22.21.13.8476

I dont believe its a driver-failure , MSVCR110.dll is making the error , according to the eventlog............. Do NOT GIVE UP!! CyberLink updates PDVD12 next month for solving these frustrating problem!!
