It uses very little resources and just sits there until it is called.
Try removing it and let us know what happens

The process is related to PDVD Home Media (DLNA), CyberLink Cloud synchronization, and PDVD Remote App control features. Disabling the process may affect the normal use of the above mentioned features.

I dont believe its a driver-failure , MSVCR110.dll is making the error , according to the eventlog.............
