General Question is...

I have older Intel 4790 with geforce 1080 - nvidia is testing drivers that do 4k playback netflix ... as the card supports PlayReady 3.0 essentially with UltraHD needing Intel Kaby Lake SGX is more or less that reason...

Will we still need Kaby Lake to play our disks or are you going to keep ur software needing kaby lake....

And seems the preview driver is no longer Preview and 4k Netflix can now run on Pascal GPU's !! proof they have PlayReady 3 (what SGX is doing)

i also have a none kaby lake cpu (6700K) with a gtx 1080 and also would love to see UHD support (in my case in UHD discs and netflix). any chance of that happening?

Im able to do UHD-BD playback in HDR and SDR with nvidia quadro card. tested a gtx 1080 and cant get that working at the moment but for some reason the Pascal quadro cards work. PM me if you want info.

can you please specify the quadro model you are using?

when i can get this program to use gtx 1080 insted of 7XXX/kaby lake cpu, i will buy it, till then its usless to me (have a 6700K cpu so need to relay on the gpu for now).
