Text/titles in background box with opacity

Hi,


I'm testing the PowerDirector trial and like it so far.

Adding videos and images, resizing and changing position etc. is mostly inuitive.

Only thing which I couldn't get done so far is text within a box with a semi-transparent background. Like it is done in this Facebook video: https://www.facebook.com/goodgoodgifts/videos/476990769311655/

Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

Hi videonewb -

Easy as! (though PDR cannot dynamically match the shape to your text).

You can:


  1. use a title template like this one (the background translucent image is included in the template), or

  2. drop in a colour board and set the opacity to 50%, with the title overlaid.


The attached screenshot shows the template in situ.
