Desaturating video color?

Hi,

Is there any way i can desaturate the colors of video clips? Like it more toned down? Im using PD7 Ultra

See if this helps
1) Open PD
2) Insert the clip which needs to be de-saturated in the time line
3) Click magic clean ( 2nd icon on the left below the hat icon )
4) It will open a window where you can
a) Adjust lighting
b) Adjust colour
c) White balance PC specs :

Here a tip for those who want to make sure the white balance is set correctly.

Next time you shoot video carry with you a white card you get from a hardware store. You can find nice ones in the paint section where you can find take home with you the white samples. Just make sure you compare all the white samples because some are whiter than others.

When it comes time to shooting video you can calibrate your camera using this card. Just check your owners manual for instructions to your camera. If you decide to do it using PD later, just make sure you record a clip of the white card and that can serve as your true white background. Ideally the lighting conditions will not change significantly. You can apply the white balance as described in the tutorial and trim that scene out later. Q9300 2.5 GHz
