need to reduce amount of info on cd ---

have an 8o min live recording which i made so no copyright, etc problems ----cd has (i guess) more than 80 mins of recording since the reading message is there is too much info and to insert a longer cd---
think only way to solve this is to stop the reading before it reaches the end of the source cd---can anyone give me info re how to do this---am 72 and tech. challenged so please explain the process in easy steps--

The only way to reduce the amount of information on your original source file is to edit it and eliminate part of it. I don't think power2go can do that. What type of file is on the CD?
