Hi. I have a Canon VIXIA HV30 MiniDV camcorder and use Vista 64 bit.

Will I be able to use PowerDirector 7 for my editing software?

I've run the Vista testing but it just runs forever and doesn't give any feedback.

Try the trial download and see if it is right for you. 30 days to tinker and give it a good test then decide to buy or not.
