help-- dvd Menu does not stay on-when watching on TV

I put four video clips on a menu and all shows well in the preview.

When I insert the dvd in my player the TV shows the menu only for 5 seconds or so and it starts playing the video automatically.

What do I need to do to have the Menu stay and also after each video to return to the menu?

Under the "disc preferences" tab (bottom left of screen- spanner icon) there is an option to "auto menu timeout" - try unticking this option.

I am using version 6 and under

preferences>Menu tab shows

Enable video thumbnal it is checked.

User defined motion menu 15 sec default

those are all the selection.
