Need some help - am trying to produce to dvd a 30 min slide show. I used Magic Motion with nearly every image and about 60% of the slides start out the pan and zoom in a choppy motion.

When I produce my video file, I turn off all background programs that may be running, including internet and firewall. I have defragmented the drive I am using for the project and that drive is 347 gb with 78% free space. I produce the video file in MPeg2 and turn off SVRT.

Will appreciate any suggestions to smooth out the final product.
Thank you.
M Kastner

There is an ongoing issue, if you search a bit in the forum. Some folks have had stuttering renders. Maybe there is an answer.
You have plenty of good hardware, and you should not have to shutdown anything for this to work.
Important! What version of PD are you using?

Thank you all for the reference to Neil's stuttering issue.
I have PD 7 Ultra – and update patches 2227-c & 2429-a.

From what I read it's the 2429-a patch that may be causing this problem.
Do you suggest I uninstall and reload with just 2227-c or no patches?

Thank you.
Mary

I am staying with 2227c. I find it working perfect for me. Most of the new builds don't seem to apply to me as I have a "low end" computer.
