Hi all,
Most of the menu templates in Power Director 7 include a small, usually irregularly-shaped window, through which the first part of the movie is visible. I don't especially like that, and looked for ways to get rid of it.
Just replacing the background image doesn't help - the window is still there. However, if I replace the background image with a video instead of a still image, the window is gone. Further, if I then replace the video background with an image, the window stays gone, ie I have achieved what I wanted. If anyone else wants to get rid of the window, this two-step method may help.
The same result can also be achieved by building a menu from scratch, but the double replacement method is probably easier.
Now for my question. Having said that I don't like this little window, I would like to know how to create one on a menu which I build from scratch. This may sound a bit perverse, but I am trying to understand the way the menu designer works.
Can anyone help please?
Thanks in advance.
Robert
