I use the record feature in Goggle Earth. Then I import and edit in PD. Only used it a handful of times, but suited my purposes.

You could also use the CyberLink Screen Recorder.

But if your asking if a turotial is avialable, have no idea. Was pretty simple after I sat down one day and took a look at it.

I didn't even know Google Earth had a recording facility. Must be a pro version.

My limited experience with using screen capture software to zoom in Google Earth tells me it's very hard work for my PC. Typically (here) the zoom is not smooth, as you can see early in this clip... & resolution is appalling when you zoom in too far.

Still, I can't think of a different way to approach the thing.

LostTarget's first suggestion is by far the best.

I found Google Earth Pro & gave its recording feature a run. If you use the settings shown in this tutorial you'll end up with a sequence of stills that can be processed in PDR & get results like ...

The first one's a trip to my brother's place & the second is to Paris.

Just to update this, I think Google Earth pro has come up with a better tour video output

I can see that it has the following:

H.264
webm
asf
mp4

Combined with path, it can make some decent google earth tour video.

Still struggling to start tour from whole globe, the the city then the street in one given path.
I dont see that annoying msg that your google earthpro is not license thou
