With Intel i7 - 6950X being the highest number of CPU cores in an Intel i7 CPU.

But can PowerDIrector utilizes all those 10 cores and 20 threads making i7 - 6950X worth?

Next is Xeon Processors. It says in the specs:

"CPU

Intel Core™ i-series or AMD Phenom® II and above" -- Cyberlink

Xeon E5 is better than i7 for programs which utilizes all of those needed cores which are beyond 4 cores and especially more than of 10 cores. Another CPU release which is Ryzen 7 with 8 cores. But will it utilizes all of those cores or it would be better to use Intel HD Graphics with 4 cores and 8 threads?

PowerDirector can use all the cores in your Processor. How much of the CPU capacity is dependant on what your edit consists of.

If the GPU is in heavy use, the CPU will be used less. Many settings in Powerdirector determine how the computer resouces are used.

I have just upgraded my i7-2600 to a Ryzen 5 1600 with 6 cores 12 threads and in my test render all of it has been used and produced a 10-15% speed increase.

should I get Intel i7 7700K (quad-core hyperthreaded) with Intel HD Graphics 630 (24 video cores) (for Hardware Acceleration),

Xeon E3-1585 v5 (quad-core Hyperthreaded) with Intel Iris Pro Graphics P580 (with 72 video cores) (for Hardware Acceleration),

or

Xeon E5-2683 v4 (16 cores hyperthreaded) with no integrated GPU (pure CPU usage)?
