Title Room Lost Abilty To Alter Title Effect Length/Start/Stop Time
[Post New]
Hi there

In Title Room there used to be bars down the bottom under the yellow timeline numbers. There was little arrows to the right to let me scroll through them all. If i uses a title room template with a main title and a subtitle i could choose either of them then drag the effects at the start at beginning to choose where they started and finished and alter their length.

This has all dissapeared now as per the screenshot. They are not in the title room tracks where they used to be that i had edited already or in new ones i start. How do i get these back?

Thanks for your help

Your link makes no sense, all I see is an ad for a washing machine, there is no video and no screen shot of your Title room.

You can attach images directly to the forum, Click on the Blue Attachments button below the text box, and add your image file. You can even attach a short Video, less than 15-30 seconds.

Question, are you really the Movie Director? The Avatar is of the real Steven Spielberg.

Thanks for your reply

The screen shot i linked to is from the title room in Powerdirector. The central element with the 'ad for a washing machine' is the video i am working on in the title room as an example. The text is the title room text i am trying to change in the title room. Below it you can see the yellow line of timestamps. Below it there used to be the feature im now missing.

Thanks for the blue button suggestion, i was looking for it when i posted originally but it didnt seem to be there. Ive edited the original post to include the image using the blue box for your convenience/

Hi again I have just altered the screenshot to remove the washing machine and text and have added a red arrow pointing to where the scroll triangles used to be. These triangles allowed me to scroll through the rows for the title and subtitle and then access the feature allowing me to alter the start/stop/duration of the title being visible by dragging the end parts of the bar in the title room timeline.

The title of your problem is what seems confusing to some readers of your perceived problem. The scroll triangles are still there in your Title Designer screenshot. Try this: Look at the red arrow pointing the right white arrowhead. Follow this horizontally to the left arrowhead. An inch or so to the left is a small white ball. Drag the ball to somewhere away from the position to the right. You should be able to do the scrolling now.

Let us know if this fixes your problem.

I'm not exactly sure of the issue, but the screen shot doesn't look as it should. It could be just a matter of adjusting the Title Designer workspace to reveal the keyframe secion at the bottom.

Look for the row of 5 dots between the timeline & preview window...

Maybe the little screen capture (attached) will help.

... or maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree embarassed

Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate the time you have taken to help. I tip my hat off to anyone who can translate my title into the correct terminology.

I had one vertical scroll arrowhead, the one that points up but the down one wasnt there. Pressing the up one didnt do anything because it was already scrolled all the way up.

With the left and right vertical arrowheads although the top tips were showing it wasnt actually enough to grab and drag them. "I love editing. It's one of my favorite parts about filmmaking" - Steven Spielberg
