How to enter product key after Trail Version Ends (Power Director 15 Ultra)

Hi, Does anyone know how to enter the product key after the trial is finished for PowerDirector 15. I can't seem to find an option to enter my product key I purchased from Cyberlink. It keeps taking me to "buy now" webpages

Hello,

You cannot activate the trial version. You must uninstall the trial and then download and install the installation files you received a link to (in an email) when you purchased PowerDirector from the store.

Hi David,

Thanks for the feedback. The links they Cyberlink sent me with the purchase says links have expired. I bought the product in October 2016. Not sure why its expired. Customer support at Cyberlink are usless in getting to my enquiry.

Do you have any suggestions?

Hello,

The links are only good for 30 days, basically so they can't be shared.

CyberLink's customer service is not useless, they are just busy so you need to be clear about your issue. Just send them a message with your purchase confirmation/order number information and they will give you a new download link.

If you're in North America, you can even call them for free about download and installation issues such as yours:

I contacted them almost a week ago, and still no answer, I will have to resend my enquiry. It can get frastrating when simple answers take weeks to get.

The sale conditions are clear. You get the link for 30 days and then it's up to you to backup the downloaded files.

Also, they are clearly offering a back-up disc for $7.14 or a cloud back-up for 1 year for $8.50. I think it's not fair to acuse them for your own choices or in-actions.

Yes, the poster didn't respond to a request to edit his post to make it a constructive dialogue, and then he responded to your post in a similar way, with an opinion on differing commercial software distribution practices.

As you outlined, his original assertion was based on an unevidenced opinion and was "ridiculous".

I removed his posts, to avoid cluttering up a 10 month old topic, which left your post "orphaned" and without it's original meaning and context, so to avoid confusion I removed your reply.

Hi.
Myt question realtes to powerdirector 16.
I switched computers and was resent the software download.
However, it seems to be the trial version.
I was also sen trh product key but can not find where to enter it?
When I click on 'my products' i can see a symb ol of a key and when i t click on it it just says 'trial' and wont allow me to enter anythig.
Whenever, i click on anything related to upgrade of purchae it always takes me to a 365 subscription (which I don't want).
Suggestions for how to convert from trial to purchased Power Dirctor16?

Hello Jody,

You cannot activate the trial version. Please check with customer service that they sent you the correct installation files for PowerDirector 16, i.e. the Ultra version or whatever you previously purchased.

Not sure what you mean by clicking on "My Products". Just try and launch PowerDirector from its desktop shortcut or from the Windows start menu. When it launches the first time, it will ask you for your product key.
