I'm about done with all my SD projects which means for the rest of the year I'll be working with HD .mts files. For 720p produced video's (Vimeo, Youtube) I'm going to be forced into using Vegas until PD7 gets some more functionality.
In it's current state though (on the 32" 720p LCD next to my computer for PS3 gaming), I can't tell the difference between a raw MTS file and a PD7 burned AVCHD disk.
Anyway, I'd gladly pay another $100 for PD7 if it was a stable as Vegas and provided the same redering control. I mean Vegas costs over $400 more than PD7. It just has a more basic yet professional feel to it (wrapped in a very un-intuative GUI).
