So I bought I couple of new movies recently and I sit down to watch them and I get this new pop up deal blocking me from watching the movies I paid for. Both of them.

This pop up is demanding an access code. I paid for the Power DVD software. I even upgraded from 14 to 16 thinking this would be a fix. Nope.

I have two options. One is to obtain the code and the other is to retry the internet.

Reading the FAQ this box should never even show up. It is supposed to automatcially access the net for this code. I am connected, this is the same PC as I am posting this on and I have a number of other programs from a minecraft server to OBS for twitch streaming all working just fine. This is clearly a software issue with Power DVD that was broken in 14 and not fixed by 16.

I want software that works, that isn't going to inconvience me or my entertainment. Fix your shit!

I can't find any settings in the software that would fix this either.

Who do i send the bill to for the cost of the Movies I can't watch and get ALL my money back for the power DVD software I PAID FOR that doesn't work now. I am NOT going to be searching for some damn code every time I want to watch a movie. Not even the first time. I'll go and download all my movies and use VLC Player. It's free and it works.

I can register the product just fine BTW so clearly there is an ability for the software to connect to the web.

Hi,

Can you send us a screenshot of this pop up? Is it asking for the activation key?..

Greetings

I had the same issue with some new BD that I bought. Never seen it before. I clicked on the "Retry Internet" option and that didn't work. So I clicked on the "Other" option (whatever it is called), and went to one of the suggested websites (playmybluray.com/1) and it gave me an access code. I entered it and voila! It worked. Hope this helps.
