Problem with video after splitting

Hey everyone,

I just got PD15 and am having some issues when I try to edit files. I attached a couple screenshots to show whats happening, but basically the video will play fine before before I try to split the clip, but after a split is made, the video is stretched like crazy. Anyone experience this before?

I have not seen that. A possibility is that PD15 might not have proper aspect ratio of your imported source video. You might try a right mouse click on the clip in the timeline and "Set Clip Attributes" > "Set Aspect Ratio..." and manually provide the proper aspect ratio and see if that makes a difference.

Try it both on source and also on the split piece.
