I have uninstalled power director 14 but:

If you save the project with power director 15 then it open with PD14 and tells me:

"This project was created with a never version of PD and is not supported by the current version"

What should i do?

I have to remove PD14?

(I still have also installated PD12 and PD14 was just fine)

Thanks for your answers

Hi lorenzotbl1,
A pds project file you saved while using PDR15 can not later be opened by the earlier PowerDirector 14.
Any project created by (the pds file) by PowerDirector 14 can still be opened by 14.
Any project created by 15 or 14, can not be opened in 13 or 12.

Hi Dafydd B

Thank you for your answer but my problemis is this:

I save in PD15 but the file that is created is a pds PD14

If I try to open it (the pds file) he tells me: "This project was created with a previous version of PD and is not supported by the current version" and even if I open it, there's nothing in the timeline.

Hi lorenzotbl1,
You could attach the pds file here (select "post reply" icon/button) and let members have a look at the pds.

You computer does not yet know you have PD 15 for the default program to open a pds file.

You can fix that my changing the default program to open a pds file.

See How to change default program to open pds file. Open this one first.

See Choose default program for pds file. This is the final step.

It looks like that you have chosen your export folder in preferences to be the desktop for PD15. You have PD14 installed and that is why that pds files opens in PD14 with the error message.

Right mouse click on that pds icon and click Open with and select PowerDirector 15 or better still, Choose Default program and set it to PD15. Installing PD14 after it had been uninstalled earlier caused the problem because it was the last one installed.

Let us know if this solves your problem.

EDIT: I see that Carl312 has answered first.
