Does your computer recognize the USB device?
https://support.360fly.com/hc/en-us/articles/216372208-USB-Device-Not-Recognized-error-when-connecting-to-PC

Is this the procedure you are using? Where does the procedure break down?
https://support.360fly.com/hc/en-us/articles/217144217-Downloading-Transferring-a-video-from-your-360fly-to-your-computer

Any error messages?

Please post the dxdiag.exe evaluation of your computer. .

Since this is rather new, you may be better off contacting Cyberlink Tech Support.

There are a lot of Windows 10 updates failuers listed at the bottom of the dxdiag.exe file. Are you aware of theM/ You ight want to fix those first.

Also, I don;t think it is critial but set that laptop display to 100% rather than where you have it.

Hi Thomas,

Can you take a screen shot of the error message you are getting so we can have more information?

Without seeing the message, my guess would be that your video is still in the RAW video 360 format. The video needs to be stitched first, before importing into PowerDirector. You can see the note in the help:

"Note: if an imported 360° media file is not displaying correctly (no 360° logo), it usually means the file is in the RAW format and was not converted (stitched) for playback. The 360° media file must be stitched before it can be used in a 360° video project in CyberLink PowerDirector. See the documentation for your 360 camera manufacturer for information on stitching the files for viewing and editing. "

I took a look at 360Fly's web site and found a similar question on their forum, saying the same thing as above. Your video needs to be in the equirectangular 360 display format to edit in PowerDirector:

https://forums.360fly.com/t/360-degree-video-editing/1577

You need to use their desktop app to convert it to this format first:

https://360fly.com/apps/

Let us know if this helped or you have any more questions.

David

There have been quite a number of posts in the last few days from editors struggling with how to handle 360 media, all appear not to be "stitching" first before importing into PowerDirector 15. Perhaps, as CLD has pointed out, this is the case here to.
