Install trial version while keeping current version?

Hello!

I already have PD14, but wanted to try PD15 (specifically the Mask Designer). Question: Can I install the trial version without interferring with my current PD14? Can they both exist on the same computer? (I do NOT want PD15 trial to overwrite my current version - That would be bad.)

Anyone done this?

Sure. They expect PD14 users to install the PD15 trial on the same pc to test it out. PD14 won't be overwritten.

Hmmm...

if i tried to install the german PD15 Trial, the setup force me to deinstall PD14...

Then i abort the installation of the trial version of PD15.

Yeah, I've seen this in other forums: Some people are saying that it can be done, while others are saying that PD wants you to uninstall your current version.

Any ideas why this would be?

I guess because the trial PD15 will install some dll's that would "dumb-down" the PD14 too to the tial limitations...
I have installed the same version of PD15 (not trial) and it let my PD14 in place.
