Efficient editing with PD and CD

For those of you that have both, what's the most efficient way to work? I'm new to Color Director. (PD too, but had it a few months before CD) My question specifically is, do you normally produce the entire video in PD, and then edit it in CD, or, CD first, and then PD. I've got Drone footage, that I cut up into 5 to 15 second clips (mostly 10ish) After slicing and dicing, I decided to edit them in CD, only, it will only let me do 1 clip at a time. With normal footage, it's not a big deal, I might have 4 or 5 large clips, but, with the drone footage, I've got a bunch, so there's no way I want to go back and forth between PD and CD over and over. I originally thought it best to start with CD, but, I usually try to make a 5 or 6 minute video, out of an hour of footage, give or take. As much time as it takes to produce, I didn't want to process 50 minutes of video in CD, that's not going to be used. Can you link clips together and then edit, or, is there a super secret batch mode? wink Power Director 14 Ultimate - Windows 10 Pro 64bit - Core i5 4670 @3.4 GHz - Nvidia GTX 780 - Asus Sabertooth Z87 - 16GB Corsair Ram @2400MHz

If you need to modify the white balance, exposure, or color, you can do all of that in Color Director then import the corrected Video into Power director to do the rest of the edit. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

Ok, I discovered clicking on fix, allows me to use my presets from CD, from within PD. Now I can cook with gas Power Director 14 Ultimate - Windows 10 Pro 64bit - Core i5 4670 @3.4 GHz - Nvidia GTX 780 - Asus Sabertooth Z87 - 16GB Corsair Ram @2400MHz
