Unfotunatelly Windows 10 recentley crashed on my drive "C."

I am now trying to reinsall my programs 64 bit. I have purchased Power Direcror 9

some years ago, and upgraded online to P.D. 11 Ultra. I believe this was because P.D.

9 was NOT compatable with Windows 10, 64 bit.

I have been looking on the Web to download a free trail of P.D. 11 Ultra, I then can

add the serial numbers, I have been given. But cannot find a P.D. 11 Ultra program to

download.

Can anyone assist plesae?

Hi alanwilliams2938,
The trial versions of PowerDirector are not designed to be activated, your search will be fruitless I'm afraid even if you found a trial PDR11.
Maybe it is best for you to consider updating PowerDirector.

"alanwilliams2938" - Just repeat what you did 2 months ago. See this post: http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/48812.page . Give it another try. After that uninstall PD9 if you think that it might crash your win 10.

Could I ask, what is the cheapest version of P.D. which will work with windows 10 - 64 bit- thanks. (thinking of upgrading)

Hi Alan,
Please edit your Profile and get rid of the quotation marks around your forum handle, as they do cause issues. I would have sent you a PM.

Maybe Ultra is your best option, read the specs of all of them.

Be aware that PDR 15 is due out some time soon.

Hi Dafydd B,

Again thanks for your assistance. I have taken the "Quotation marks" off my profile name, as requested.

I am in no hurry to purchase an upgrade P.D. at this moment in time, and I am sure I can wait.

I assume by what you are saying that in the near furture with the new version coming out soon, & there may be a price drop

of some P.D. products?

As you will notice on the P.D. Web site there are price reduction for P.D. 14, but how long they have been reduce in price, I do not know.

Is it posible to tell me how long should I wait, before upgrading to a newer version of P.D.?

Hi Alan,
I cant give any info out but the thread http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/25/48785.page#259899 made me have a wry smile as members try and deduce the timing of the release.

PDR14 currently has a 70% price reduction, I would suppose that PDR15 will be at the full retail price when launched. In the thread I've linked to, Barry has suggested price reduction coupons may be available.

Dafydd

Edit: Thank you for removing the quotation marks.

Hi Again Dafydd,

Again thanks for your help. Just for your information, I have tried to load P.D. 9 into Windows 10, but the DVD drive will NOT

even read the disk (which has been cleaned) So back to square one, I will look and see what's on offer on the P.D. Web page.

Problem Solved.

Thanks, Alan
