There are quite a few open source photo resizing tools. IRFANVIEW is a good one. Another is FastStone Photo Resizer, which also does batch resizing, renaming & with good quality control.

I'm only guessing from your screenshot that you're working on a laptop with a fairly low screen resolution. The DxDiag will clarify whether there is some inherent problem with your PC.

Your video driver is nearly two years old, a update may solve your not showing the Jpg.

Card name: AMD Radeon(TM) R5 Graphics

Driver Date/Size: 3/2/2015 19:58:45, 1352536 bytes

AMD download center:

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

Your computer is not the fastest on the block, but it should still work, albeit slow.

Hi Bob -

I don't have anything specific from checking your DxDiag, except to echo Longedge's assessment as "underpowered". It's not a PC I'd use for generating income, but I still can't see why it wouldn't be able to display basic 4000x3000 JPGs.

Perhaps updating the GPU driver will have some impact.

At least, for now, you have a workaround option.

Cheers - Tony

Morning guys. Just wanted to follow up and let you know how things are going.
I have resized my jpj's from 4000x3000 to 2500x1875 and everything seems to work fine.
I have gotten more comfortable with PD14, So much that I completed two videos for real estate agents and the were pleased with the outcome.
I'm sure I'll be back with more questions bit I wanted to thank you guys for the help. I owe you all a beer.
