I shoot video in 4k format and have a 4k tv that I want to use to view videos in 3840 x 2160 resolution.
What is the best output format to use in Powerdirector 14?
I've tried the Windows format but the tv can't read it in wma.
Advice would be much appreciated

You have got to read the instruction manual for your new 4k tv. That wma is an audio not a video format. That might be a typo. You are probably wanting to view 4k video via the tv usb port. Every tv manufacturer will spec the video format that can be played on the particular model.

in my experience
H.264 .MP4 @ 50Mb/sec or lower bitrate works best.
