I did check out that page. That is the exact Player I used, ok, this time, I downloaded that scanner software and read that block scanning code. It took me to the exact download page. Something that did NOT happen last time, the media player did NOT ask me for a code. I hope it ask me for that yellow code at the bottom there, then I will know I'm on the right track. So far it is still installing. Stevek, if I may ask, are you from tech support? Thank you. Regards

OK Stevek, I have done as you suggested, I read on the Cyberlink website that it is not necessary for an iOS device to enter the serial number.

BUT...I still get ads on the media player. I don't know,...do you know for sure that I should not get ads on my media player. I hope you are correct because I HATE the ads displayed on it.

I am back to square one....but stevek, I truly value your help so far. It's very kind of you! Regards
