I want to move all my clips together

This seems very basic but I can't figure out how to do it. I used to use Sony and this just seemed to happen so easily. When I change something and there is a gap I seem to have to move all the clips one by one and it takes forever as I have to do it with each change. If I highlight them all and try to move them it won't let me crossfade unless I do one at a time. I am sure this must be doable could somebody please help me.

Try this: Right mouse click on that gap and click Remove and move all clips on the same track or the lowest line in that popup window.

Let us know if this fixes your problem.

I tried this and the Remove etc. is grayed out.

Originally, I removed a photo by clicking on remove and fill gap and move all clips.

This worked beautifully, before but on THIS photo, (which the photos ALL came from the same folder)...........left me with a black space. I have read all that I can find on the forum and tried everything and it is still there.

I cannot seem to get rid of this black space. Help!! Thanks in advance.

I get a smooth transition during playback? I have many clips to the right of
this, and it is painstaking time consuming to individually move and each clip
one by one manually.

Tomasc wrote Try this: Click to highlight the first clip that is to the right of that gap. Scroll to the right, hold down the
Shift key and click on the last clip to highlight all those clips. Scroll back
to the first highlighted clip. Click and drag to the left to close that gap and
release the mouse button. Let us know if you successfully closed that gap with the above
operation.

Note from Mickey: I have to say this.......at first I couldn't get it to work...tried three times. Yes, I got everything highlighted ok but when I went back to the first higlighted clip, and clicked on the first photo, all the other highlighted photos would no longer be highlighted.

The reason why is.......you have to be on the Timeline, NOT the Storyboard. So, I switched to the Timeline view and 'voila, it worked like magic. THANKS Tomasc!!!!!! Hope this helps someone, this is my first attempt making a slideshow on PD15. It's AWESOME, LOVE IT, but it can be trickey. Thank goodness for the FORUM!
