When I try to import video files into the media library, it shows a message: "You must first activate this feature before using it. Connect to the internet and then try again. Activation is a free and quick process. / H.264 - Component activation / The codec trial has expired. Please connect to the internet to activate now." It's been showing up for the last two or three videos I've made. Every time I try to load a project with imported video files or try to import new ones, it shows. Every time I click activate, and it works perfectly fine.
Now, all of a sudden, it is showing up with an error message: "Codec activation incomplete. This may be because the internet was disconnected, or the program serial number is invalid or reached its activation limit."
My internet connection is working perfectly fine, however, a family member trying to "set up" a T.V. was also having issues connecting, which I assumed was linked to my Cyberlink problems. Now, however, he's upstairs watching a movie on that very same television.
I pulled out the CD that came with the program, and it shows the CD-key and SN (which I assume is the serial number) on the sleeve. I don't know if this is helpful to me, though, as the only option I can think of is pressing the "activate" button, even though it continues to show an error message.
Help, please. ~ Kat
