Hi

I'm having a problem with a Blu Ray disc I created using Power Director 14. I can play them in any Blu Ray player but for some reason they won't rewind, fast forward or restart after pausing - anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Just basing on what you wrote. Hit play after the pause first. The FF should then work. The BD should be playing before you can access the title menu button on the remote of a standalone BD player.

Thanks tomasc, but I can't play after pressing pause and I can't fast forward when the disc is playing

That problem has been reported in past in the forums. Let us know what video card is in your pc. You can uncheck hardware encoding in the final burn to create a compatible BD.

Let us know if this solve your problem.

Unchecking the box did the trick thanks!! I should have remembered this from the days when I used Roxio!

I moved my Power director to an entirely new system and still have the problem.

Al least I can trap it now by opening the ISO file in PowerDVD.

I discovered an interesting tidbit that might shed light on the cause, though. If I mount the ISO and extract the .M2TS file, it will play and fast-forward normally. - So, the problem most likely resides in the environment of the Blu-Ray image.

Does anyone have any other ideas?
