Freeze Up on the New Update

Hi Guys,

So, I just updated to v2820, after a hard battle with the md5 fails, hoping it would fix the problem I have before where it would crash if I try to delete a sped up audio track etc but that seems like it has been fixed with this update but a new problem popped up where if I try to 'trim' by dragging at the right most side of the track towards to the left it will freeze up for about 15s or more then proceeds to trim but will have a couple of seconds 'lagging' before going ok. That's the problem I have right now, so does anyone else experience something like this? It wasn't like this before the update.

Thanks

Hi Naisu

One thing to check is in your Windows updates list, if there's one about mid May for Adobe Flash Player that has been installed, try uninstalling it and restarting your PC. I found this was my issue with suddenly having freezes and "go slows" in PD14 a week or so ago - rest of my computer was fine.

Good luck. Marty (In the Barrel).

Hi ITB,

Thanks for the heads up, I'll try uninstalling Adobe Flash Player which I installed last May 22nd since I tried Opera Browser to do a Speedtest.net thing. If it stops the random freezes then I'll be sure to come back and tell the good news so that others that come across this problem can try it.

Cheers
