Over the years I have persevered with PD, can't say it's brilliant but I have got used to it. Had a reasonable amount of help from this forum but I about at the end of my tether with it. Trying to burn a Blu-ray disk of a friends' wedding, it keeps saying "disk type not supported", tried two different types of burner, different makes of disks, even tried a different project, all to no avail.

Anyone got any ideas please, I am supposed to be handing over the video tonight and at the moment I don't know what to do, any help greatly appreciated.

Be sure you have selected the correct disk type on "2D Disc" tab of the create disk module.

Also be sure your Burner supports Bluray disks. DVD burners do not do Bluray.

Option 2: Produce the video and use output to publish with other software. I use Nero 10 with great success and virtually no problems.

Many thanks for your prompt responses. With respect, I have been burning Blu-ray disks for years so I know the settings etc. Weirdly though in desperation, I created a folder and was going to try Imgburn, I also bought some new disks and when I got back it had finished, so I bunged one of the new disks in and it burned fine.

Just burning a couple more, then I'll chuck an old disk in and see what happens.

Solved it, it would appear I had two different batches of dodgy Blu-ray disks, odd because I tried them in two different machines and both could see them and display correct capacity. Thanks for your help and comments.
