I created a slide show video and then tried to add new transitions using the full editor. I could not move the transactions to the video line. Do you have any idea why this would occur?

Any feedback on the patch from everyone? The last patch broke this program program for me. Hangs so often while trying to edit a video unless I let the thing sit in there for about 10min before I start editing. Was waiting to see if this patch might fix the issue before uninstalling and going back to the working version.

The last patch also broke the program for me. Certain video files were no longer able to be added to the program and it was freezing all the time and crashing as well. I was actually logging onto the forums to ask if anybody know how to uninstall an update and saw this post.

I just installed this update and none of the issues that patch 2707 caused has seemed to be fixed for me.

I'll probably be uninstalling and installing the original, non-patched version as well.

Just installed PowerDirector 14 on my Windows 10 computer. Had PD11 and updated to the 14. In the PD 11 version and now also in the 14, the video flickers when playing in the window. Before changing to Windows 10, I didn't have this problem with the PD11. Thought if I went to the PD14 it would clear this up. Any suggestions?

Mary, is that before or after this patch?

Installing 2820 GM5 Patch Patch VDE160411-01.exe Ruined Powerdirector 14

After installing this update Powerdirector 14 won't even open, all I get is this error: PDR.exe - Entry Point Not Found

How do I uninstall this update/patch and get Powerdirector working again?!

I just completely uninstalled and re-installed the program and it is working again now; I'm afraid to update it again at this point.

Do you guys have a offline download for this? Using the Cyberlink Downloader seems to result in a MD5 fail on my side and I can't update.

I think I'll ignore all updates from now on. My previous PD program did the same thing where it was perfect until I updated it.

I'm having a brand new audio problem, but I'm not sure if it's from the PowerDirector update or a recent Windows 10 update. (They both happened at about the same time.)

The problem seems to be how PowerDirector reacts to a change in the global volume setting I set in the Windows Volume Mixer.

Should I post about it here or in a separate, new thread?

I'm hoping I'm not the onlyone having this problem, because it's a little hard to describe.

The gist of it is that volume levels in the clips I'm watching PowerDirector jump to about double the volume they were a couple seconds ago, for no good reason I can see.

If I go out to the Windows Volume Mixer and even slightly tap a volume level there (e.g., changing a slider from 20 to 19), then the same clip I was previewing in PowerDirector drops back down to the "half volume" I was hearing before the sudden jump.

After a few minutes of moving around the timeline, previewing clips, zooming the timeline, etc., PowerDirector suddenly jumps to double the volume again.

Is anyone else having this problem? Where should I post about it?
