Video/Audio Sync Issues
[Post New]
I know this has been touched upon in other threads, but I also wanted to know if there was a documented issue with the video/audio preview which will be fixed in the next patch? I downloaded the latest patch a couple weeks ago, but ever since then I find it nearly impossible to sync the audio and video perfectly in the timeline. For example, if I'm trying to sync a clip to appear at a specific time in the audio, I find it almot impossible because the preview is usually lagging. I have heard people suggest lowering the video quality, but that only helps some of the time. As for "your computer might be too slow" I can assure you that isn't the issue. I just want to know if Cyberlink is aware of this issue and that a fix is indeed coming. PD has been much better since the last update, but this is the one issue I am now having as a result. Thanks.

I'm not aware of any updates that affect preview smoothness, and that issue has been a point of contention for users since waaay back many versions of PD and I have little doubt they are aware of it. You can always submit a ticket to Support. It's a nearly perfect program for me but a clear smooth preview would be the icing on the cake. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Thanks for the reply. I agree that the preview function has never been great, but it has definitely gotten worse for me since the last update. Overall, the update was great and fixed almost all the issues I was having, I just wish the preview would work better. It's a very important feature for people making heavy edits.
