Play To not changing watched status

Not sure if there is an option for this or this is just how it is designed to work

In the TV Section

If I watch a show locally on my PC everything is fine, when i finish watching an Episode the little circle changes to show I have watched the episode

If I right click an episode and select Play To (or highlight and select Play To at the bottom right), the episode gets sent to my Roku and plays perfectly, but when it gets to the end, the show is still marked as unwatched in my library

How to i get it to flag episodes as watched when i use the Play To feature?
