Labelprint 2.0 doesn't have lightscribe?

Bought a new laptop with Windows Vista and the Labelprint software came with it. Took me a while to figure out to flip the disc to "print" on it, but it still didn't recognize. Finally figured out that "labelflash" printing is available with this software, but the "lightscribe" is not an option ALTHOUGH THE HELP FILE SAYS IT IS.

I registered the software, and it says I have the latest software... There is a patch to enable lightscribe for Labelprint 1 - should I load that? Or do I need different software? HELP!!!

Oh, have Memorex LightScribe CD-R discs.

You have to buy labelflash DVDs which I can only find on line.Lightscribe will not work on a labelflash burner.I made the same mistake, went out and bought light scribe disks to find out they don't work on a labelflash burner.

Thanks for your reply - after two days of running around town, have finally figured out that labelflash only works with DVDs not CDs and yes, I don't have a lightscribe burner. Bummer - time to rethink my project.

Do you need a "labelflash" burner...or would lightscribe software work? I don't think they "make" a specific burner just for lableflash do they??

You will need a lableflash or lightscribe disk writer in your computer and also you can get both lightscribe and labelflash disks on amazon.com/.co.uk and currys digital on most UK highstreets...
