Upgrade from 11 to 12? (no joke)

I still have PD 11, and XP Pro (and I wish to keep on using it). Now I would like to merge 2 videos and find that I will need the multicam function, which apparently version 12 has (which also happens to run on XP), not however 11.

Is there a link somewhere where I can upgrade from 11 to 12? So not to 13 or 14 please, that would require a newer OS.

I would be happy if Carl312 from Texas is around, he seems to be very well informed (judged by what I keep on reading from him), plus he expresses himself in a way that even someone like me can follow him.

Hi don.mitchel,

Until Carl312 is able to reply (upon returning from wrangling some stray dogies out on the ranges of Texas wink), here's a list of Cyberlink Certified retail vendors…

http://www.cyberlink.com/stat/regional-stores/enu/index.jsp

Whether or not they have any fresh versions of PD12 available, will require some research on your part.

However, if the above vendors don't yield fruitful results, then a quick Google search of "Purchase PD12" will (among others) reveal…

http://www.amazon.com/Cyberlink-PowerDirector-12-Ultimate-Suite/dp/B00F2DEL0K/ref=sr_1_4/184-3614230-2693836?ie=UTF8&qid=1457858050&sr=8-4&keywords=cyberlink+power+director+12

Or…

http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/181993079196?item=181993079196&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466&rmvSB=true

I can make no claims of any experience with any vendor linked above. Nor can I assure you that if purchased, that the product received will be a genuine full or valid copy. Or that the product activation process will work flawlessly for any 2 year old version of PD12 that is purchased by an outside vendor.

So, as they say,… "Caveat emptor".

Good Luck.

Thanks both of you. For the time being, I try to have my 2 videos (a cellphone / landline phone conversation, and recorded on *both* ends) merged into 1 video (in order to be able to compare the sound qualities of a link which uses an external antenna) by someone found via fiverr.com. We should see the result in a few days at http://pro-mobile-internet.net/

I haven't needed the multicam function before, and do in general not have major aspirations with regard to videos. So I'll keep your tips in my backhand, just in case everything else fails.

Thanks again, I hope to make my website message more easily understandable through this video, although I had very basic means at my disposal only (cellphone cameras, layman actors with limited understanding of the issue, my own video-technical deficits, to name just a few).

PS

I didn't make a good experience with fiverr.com. The first guy I picked appeared unreliable, hesitated to commit to a realistic price, apparently attempting to push up the price. The second was the opposite to him (or so it seemed), but didn't keep his promise (25 USD, within 24 hours). When confronted with his delivery overdue, he became emotional and canceled / tried to cancel.

See, I want to merge these 2 videos into 1:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cT0YoRM9eoY

Ie, at 3 or 4 points, the 2nd video would have to alternate with the 1st. I have prepared a time list (indicating the respective switch point in seconds) that someone with a multicam-capable editor just would have to follow.

Would anybody of you be ready to do that? The whole thing is information about external antennas for mobile phones in a car, ie their desirability and superiority to freely-radiating cellphones. See also the supporting quotes on page 1 at http://pro-mobile-internet.net/ by a major network operator, a government regulator of a big country, and the biggest global antenna maker.
