I have been using your product CyberLink PowerDirector 12 for about two weeks now. I believe you have the potential for a good product just not user friendly. I am working on a project for a customer and have received two msg that have no meaning at all too me. Two days ago I was trying to burn a DVD and keep receiving the error "Burning unsuccessful Error Code 80070057 The parameter is incorrect. What parameter? You must had some time of error detection code that caught something that was not right. Being a software developer for 27 years for a fortune 500 company, if you code caught some type of error you would know what parameter cause your error and could provide a little bit more user friendly msg than a parameter is missing, what parameter? What do I do now, what do I look for?

Today I was in the Produce Tab putting a clip up onto You Tube and received a msg " Cyberlink PowerDirector could not upload the video to You Tube. WHY Once again something cause your software to burp can't you share an user friendly msg to your customer so they have some idea of what they have to correct to be successful. If my programming team put a msg out like this they would hear about it the first time and the second time would problemly be looking for a new job.

Not a happy Cyberlinker

Hello, terrykemm!

"Sigh" here we go again, folks! Terry has issues in burning to DVD or uploading to YouTube, Messages from Cyberlink Support(when approached by Terry) offer no real help or solution. Terry, I would probably think someone on this forum may have the answer your looking for, someone a bit more senior than me, but Cyberlink seems to have issues that need sorting out urgently, customer relations-wise. Hopefully You'll get an answer soon, so keep plugging, ay?

Thanks Neil for the reply. I thought it might have been just me running on version 10. I know the company I worked for before retirement would work closely with our vendors to make sure there software was compatible before we would release a new version update even to the point of putting our employees at their location to work with them. No I did not work for Microsoft. Just a competitor. But you can't blame Windows 10 when their error messages are brain dead. I was thinking of updating to ver. 14, but to put more money into their pocket and not get a quality product and support hummmm.
