Hi IstvanX -

PDR13 cannot generate an alpha channel video, even though it can import and use them in editing. Nor can it make the moving "mask" shown in the linked video.

If you had (say) a green screen video of a dark figure dancing, you could invert the colours (unless you wanted a sea of green on your screen) then use chroma key on the inverted version.

Even though there are a number of steps to take, it works - I just tried it.

It turned out like this...

Cheers - Tony

Hi, Tony!

That's a curious effect! Can it be done in PD14? What would I need to do to create the superimpose for the PiP track? It's a very interesting effect too! Such an effect as this could be used as an opening/closing title effect for a video(credits scrolling across or up the screen).

Cheers!

Neil.

Thank you a lot ynotfish,

Hope it is not a stretch to ask you please, let as know the steps, how to do this effect.

I am lost, how to invert the video clip to make the middle part transparent.

Thanks a thousand times...

Not too much of a stretch, especially after a thousand thank yous!

The video doesn't explain HOW to do it, but the attached (& now corrected) PDF file does.

Cheers - Tony
