PD14 stars in: CRASH ON INSERTING ANY VIDEO ON TIMELINE

1. OS = Windows 10
2. PD = Cyberlink Power Director 14 Ultimate3. SR# = Bought Online... no #'s Besides ItemNo & Serial...?
4. Tested with AVI, MP4, & MOV
5. Exactly as Follows, over & over again; I open a fresh new project, and import some items (using both File Import & Folder Import). Sometimes it crashes right there and I start over. But the times it doesn't, I then attempt to drag clips onto the Timeline. All the photos work flawlessly. But when I try to use a video clip of any duration & size, after about 0-3 clips are placed, it crashes. (Note I tried using KiteSurfer Sample Clip, and it worked fine.)

7. Don't have any installed, but all the videos I use seem to play just fine on demo screen & timeline, the few times I get it on there.

So there was another post with the same problem I was reading yesterday that I can't seem to find. But I tried the same things they did, including reinstall, restart, updating to the most recent patch/update. I don't want to mess with my nVidea graphics, but if needed I will follow directions as given. I cleared the Temp. files made by PD14. That's about all the things I can think of that I thought of doing would fix it. Now I am exasperated and don't know where to turn.
I would like to apolagize in advance for any mistakes I made, this is my first time & I folloed the rules page best to my understanding. I would also like to give many thanks in advance for any help & replies given, I really enjoy this program and would like to continue using it in the future.

Most likely the constant crash is the well documented GeForce Experience conflict issue with PD. Possible fixes, uninstall and/or next time you install a new Nvidia driver do a custom install and don't select it. By default it's installed.

I tested a few clips this morning and no crash so far, looks like it worked!

I have same problem and uninstalling of GeForce Experience really helps. The problem is that without GeForce Experience I have new problems with graphics in some simulators.
Are you planning to fix PD 14 conflict with NVIDIA GeForce Experience?

We are users like you, we are not CL. As I understand it, GeForce Experience is primarily for gamers to keep their software updated and is not targeted at video editing. Not sure why CL would want to spend time and money working that issue, but perhaps there is a broader issue I don't understand. Regards,

Dan, thank you. Your are right regarding GeRorce targeting. I do not why but uninstalling of this software results on my computor with craching of some games.
Will send my question to CL Technical support.
