Dear CyberLink,
I would like to comment on my experiance with your company. i recently purchased a new computer and i would like to put my cyberlink Power director 13 which i purchased less than a year ago onto my system. HOWEVER. I couldnt locate a download link, i couldnt find a key input on the trial verson, i cant find any email adresses on your website, the number you have is incorrect as it dials my local hospital and NOT YOUR CALL CENTRE, your website is overly complex to navigate and the fact i have to pay to get instant access to call you is a joke.

I am thoroughly unimpressed with you and your company as a whole and i find it absolutely rediculous that the only way i can quickly contact you is through the forums. I would like you to contact me asap so that i can resolve my issue because im sick of having to mess around with companies like you who clearly doesnt care about their costumer base. i hope that you will be emailing me soon to resolve this.

Alexander, let's run through this a little one thing at a time.
You already know we are volunteers (but for a very few), so skip that, you cannot find your link to the previously downloaded program. Of course, you can't, Cyberlink keeps those links up for awhile but you, the consumer, must download the program. Did you delete the downloads? For the life of me I cannot fathom why so many people (you are not alone, Alexander) fail to archive their paid-for merchandise. You will need to present proof-of-purchase of some kind, even the expired link as a screenshot might help. Credit Card? PayPal?
Next is the trials are SEVERELY cut down versions and you cannot put in a key to activate it. Again, you are not alone, this happens quite often, do a search here and you'll find plenty of people who went and tried that route.
I cannot help you with the incorrect telephone number, maybe a typo, I wouldn't doubt it, PowerDirector had a TITLE template included for many years that read "Around the Wrold". No extra charge for the typo, mind you.
Keep us posted if you like, hopefully you can sort this out, but PLEASE save the download files when you get them, and add a note with them which includes the receipt info and Key. Storage is dirt cheap these days.

Take a screenshot and save it, and any credit card/sales info from transactions, anything will help. Submit it again, go to their Facebook page if you have to. Perhaps one of the Mods here can give you a bump, but don't depend on that. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

You won't be able to. It's made very clear when you make your purchase that the download link that you are given is for a limited time. Have you deleted your original downloads? I don't understand why anybody should do that but anyway... If this is the case then you'll have to wait for Customer Support to respond to your request when as Barry said you can provide some sort of proof of purchase. In my account on the Cyberlink site, I can see listed all the products that I have purchased and I can download the product keys and software updates. What I can't do is download the original installation files but I downloaded them in the first place and made two separate backups just in case. I did this because, as I said, it was made very clear that the files were available for a limited time only unless I wanted to pay extra for an extended period (which I chose not to do - my thinking why would I want to do this more than once??).

Better still, burn them onto an optical disc. Like Barry I simply can't understand why anybody wouldn't save the downloaded files they've paid good money for in case they suffer a system crash, or upgrade their system, and need to do a new install. Personally I've bought both my versions of PD as boxed retail copies. That means they're commercially pressed discs, with key, which should last indefinitely. Regards,
Mike

What is done is done, and maybe it was an oversight, let's just move on and maybe Alexander can get help, and we'll have a happy new member. Of course there may be some pushing to get the downloads. Good luck. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Hi, Mike!

By doing so, you're guaranteed a reliable re-install on any future computer you may buy. Commercially-pressed discs in boxed sets should ALWAYS be the way to go when buying software like Power Director(whichever version) or any other type of software, for that matter. Downloading software can be frought with danger: Components of the software might not download correctly, rendering the software useless, or a malevolent hacker could install a virus on the download that could cause havoc in your computer. Installation from disc avoids all that hassle. So, for PD15, 16, 17 and onwards, put them out on disc - not download!

Cheers!

Neil.
