Hi, I'm relatively new to PD. I made a video with video+slides+audio of about 11 minutes. Unforetunatly, there is about NINE minutes of black screen and no audio after my video plays at the and of the video. I thought it would go away after I Produced it.

How do I get rid of it? I've search the web, but hace come up empty.

I'm running Win 7, 16 GB RAM, GPU Gigabyte Geforce GTX 960 4 GB GDDRS, 120GB SSD, BenQ 27" 4k Monitor

Thanks

You simply have a sliver of video or audio way to the right in the timeline, near 20 min mark. Simply hit the "Page Down" key and then the "End" key on the keyboard which will take you to the last clip of the timeline. You may need to zoom in on the timeline to see if really small duration. Just delete and redo until you find the end is as desired.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I think I may have fixed it. I moved one of the "triangle" thingy on the timeline to the right as far as it would go, and the blank space turned kind of a transparent yellow. I think I then right clicked on it and hit remove. When I play the video it now stops at the correct place. It's rendering now. Hope it works.

Yep, that method, although a little cumbersome, will work too. You simply had a clip way out to the right.

Hi, Jeff and Butchdon!

Yeah, That can be a trap for the unwary, when you can have so many video and audio tracks avilable just a mouse-click away! You have to watch the content to ensure no extraneous "stuff" turns up on a higher-numbered track well beyond where the end of your clip is supposed to be. I got caught on this one, once or twice(or a few times) myself. Bit of a pain, ain't it?

Cheers!

Neil.

Fixed.

On to another issue. The hires version of this video hangs after 4 seconds. It's being hosted on OneDrive. I'll try AWS to see if that makes a difference.

Hi, Butchdon!

For the new issue, you need to start a separate thread. That's the normal practice on this forum.

Cheers!

BTW, I belong to a number of forums for each car and piece of software I own.

This is the most responsive and knowledgeable group by far. And seems I can find what I need on youtube as well. Must be a lots of users of this software out there.

Hi, Butchdon!

There most certainly are!, Though many Power Director users are likely using earlier versions, and in some cases, may have two, three or even four versions installed on their computers. I have two versions on mine, PD8 and PD14, both Ultra. I've found that PD14 has quite a few good features but, on the other hand there are some of those "features" that still require a great deal of "tweaking" by Cyberlink to get them right. For that reason, I've hung on to PD8 Ultra. There are one or two things I can do in PD8 that I found cannot be done in PD14.

Cheers!

I'm having a similar issue, except there is 4 1/2 minutes if black screen at the start of my video but the sound is still there. How do I fix this? Thanks in advanced.
