Hi,

How can I move shift several clips spanning different tracks at once so that I can insert a new sequence in one of the tracks?

E.g. I want to move all the clips in tracks 6-9 eight seconds into the future without disturbing the other tracks?

Multiple select and then sliding them over to the right doesn't seem to work (only one moves).

All the best,

Alan

How did you do the multiple select? Should work fine, it does here. Were all clips the blue background like "fred" vs the grey when you had them all selected prior to move?

Hi alanrick,

you can easily mark several clips if you make a left-click close to the first clip you want to move and then wipe with the mouse over all the clips you want to move while keeping the left mousebutton pressed. Next, you release the button and click on one of the clips marked to move them.

I hope my English is understandable...

Greetings

Michael Grüße aus dem Ahrtal!

Strange... I answered immediately but it doesn't seem to have saved.

Danke Mischka, Thank you Jeff,
Both work perfectly. I guess I was tired and my mouse wasn't behaving.

I also found you can lock tracks, so that those selected objects don't move.
