Thank you. I don't run the "experience" module anymore so I don't know when updates come out. CyberPowerPC | Win7HP-64 | AMD FX-8320 3.5 Ghz | 8GB Mem | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB | WEI 5.9

Same issue with PD as previous release, namely you don't get what you ask for during encoding, use update with caution if you do HA encoding until CL/Nvidia resolve or simply stick to a driver with proper results.

Looks like Nvidia is only catering to Tomb Raider and Tom Clancy's Division games for this update, which means it'll be another month before the next driver comes along. I doubt this will resolve any of the crashing issues in Powerdirector due to the fact its code is swiss cheese, but I'm going to try it and hope that it does anyway.

I often do HEVC to HEVC 80Mbps renderings and I use HA to save time. I manage to make 2-10 projects before PD crashes. Afterwards the HA is greyed out. Then I change the Nnvidia driver and I start a new cycle. Geforce Experience is always uninstalled as suggested here. 361.75 driver managed 3 projects before it crashed. I´ll go back to 359 again to get back the HA for HEVC and use that and wait for next crash. I sent several emails to Cyberlink as they ask us after each crash. Corsair Vengeance C70, Asus Geforce GTX 1060
Asus Prime Z370-A, Corsair RMx 850, Samsung SSD 960 EVO M.2. Windows 10,
Corsair Vengeance LP 2X16Gb DDR4 RAM,Intel i7-8700K

Yes, that hung HA encode task creates a flag and makes further encoding greyed out as you note. This thread discusses the issue and shows you how to resolve that flag set if you want vs installing older driver as a fix. It won't correct whatever creates the crashed encode process, just corrects the flag after it happens so you can try again. http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/47025.page

Thanks. I wrote in that thread too but I don´t know how to edit or even get into the registry..

Version 2019 of PD14 never crashed. The crashes started with v2302.

Hi Anders -

As many, including JL_JL, have posted in the forum, you edit the registry at your own risk. That said, I'm not technically inclined but I've never managed to wreck anything as long as I follow the instructions provided.

Here's an unadulterated screen capture of how to navigate to the Data folder Jeff referred to - http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/47025.page#244166

Cheers - Tony

Oh! Thanks ynotfish. With that YouTube film it was easy to change the "1" to the "0". No greyed out HEVC HA any more.. Corsair Vengeance C70, Asus Geforce GTX 1060
